Our Mission
Pucks With A Purpose, Inc is a nonprofit organization, in Tampa, FL, formed to provide financial assistance to underprivileged youth wishing to participate on local ice hockey teams by providing access to skating lessons, equipment and assist in team placement through partnerships made with local teams and ice rinks.
Pucks With A Purpose, Inc is a 501(c)3 organization, qualified for tax exemption.
Our Story
Pucks With A Purpose, Inc was envisioned by our founder, Thomas Schooley, when he saw an overwhelming need in our local youth hockey community. Many children are learning to skate and play ice hockey, but many never get the chance to actually play on a team because their family can’t afford it.
Through our foundation and support from our great community, we will assist families in need by providing the funding and working with local ice rinks to place their child on an ice hockey team where they can continue to learn and develop their hockey skills and passion for the sport.
